4th at 6200 is about 120 so ya ya better have big ***** to stay in it.
I pound just about anything that pulls up next to me crotch rockets, V-Rods ya better not miss a gear or be late off the line because ya guna loose.
Must be racing toddlers on tricycles or maybe 6 year olds who just learned how to ride. Aint no way in HELL you pounding crotch rockets doing 120 in 4th at 6200 rpm. I wish I wouldve seen or heard ANY cruiser riding dude talk that mess to me when I had my 2008 GSX-R 1000. That bike was good for 104 mph IN FIRST GEAR stock!!!! My bike now with a stage I and tw-7H cams does 120 in 4th at 6200 rpm and there is no way in hell im pounding on no crotch rockets or v-rods. Wont even bother telling the lie that I am because real riders or riders of modern crotch rockets will know thats a farce...SMH!!!
I just did a SE STAGE4 RACE KIT w/259E cams. my Dyno sheet is in the Sticky "Dyno #'s for baggers" bottom of page 375. I'm happy with 112hp / 114 ft lbs tq.

+1 on that...Coming from a V-Rod I have to say your full of it friend........
just had a stage 4 kit installed at my dealer and really like the results. I haven't had it dyno'd but can really tell a difference in the pull in every gear. It has 259 cam,10.5--1 pistons heavier cutch spring 58mm intake. I am running screaming eagle street cannon exhaust an screaming eagle stage 1 air cleaner. I run 93 octane gas. My question: I am noticing more top end noise than before the build and also some Knocking noise when I accelerate. Should I be concerned about that. I am in the process of doing some smart tune runs the the super tuner pro, but so far it hasn't affected the noise. Overall the bike runs pretty well some decal pop. I haven't done anything other than smart tune runs so I have done nothing with spark advance, AFR settings ect Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!!
i've got the part # 27544-10 stage 4 kit, with the 10.5:1 forged pistons, 259-E cams, sepst, heavier clutch spring, the whole kit, and i added the s.e. compensator, V&H 2 into 1 pro pipe, along with the zippers deeper air cleaner element, and this is a great combination. the 255's seem to develop great torque at low rpm's but fall off about when things start getting interesting. they seem to be the flavor of the day though. the 259-E's on the other hand, pull like crazy from idle through red line at 6200 with no dip at all. a very quick rise of torque and it holds there till you hit the rev limiter if you choose to do so. i could have likely picked up a few more hp and ft lbs of torque with better heads, but this kit was designed for using the stock heads, and they flow plenty good enough. the 50% rise in horsepower and torque makes me very happy with the build. be sure you get the compression releases and better torrington/timken cam bearings put in while your motor is apart. far cheaper to do it now than realize you really need the compression releases. when the weather is hot and humid, and your bike is hot, you'll see why you need them. hope this helps.
If you have the right heads/head work the 255s do not fall off. While I am no drag racer I assure you my motor turns on a 3k and pulls hard to redline. While touring I have a ton of torque from 2k on up. My build just happened to work out really well. Really kind of an accident. I was after bottom end and unexpectedly got a bunch of top end too. I'm certain the top end is the result of the head work.
