Smile 103 upgrade...

I have a 2008 SG and am going to put the 103 stage 2 kit on...in a week or so. That is the kit with the cams, cylinders pistons, ect.... any suggestions at all?

I was thinking of going with different Cams (gear driven) than what comes in the kit. if so what ones?

Any other suggestions with the kit?

I already have the big air kit and pipes.

The Heads have to come off anyways so think about some cleaned up heads or SE Performance Heads

Race Tuner is always a good idea.

Like Ice said, you have them off anyways. Also, all of the real performance is in the heads, and for the performance you get, its not a bad value. But if you do the heads use someone reputable, there are a lot of people who claim to make tons of power, and don't know the first thing about it.

I paid my HD dealer to do the 103 last month with the SE tuner, SE 25 cams, BUB 7 &true duals, SE a/c, and stock 96" heads.
It made a new bike out of it without the head work. And my fuel mileage slightly improved with significantly more motor performance. From 38-40 MPG to 40-42 MPG. You'll be happy. Be sure to get 3 hr of dyno time to set up the tuner properly.

I forgot to mention.. i still have the factory warrantee..lol i kinda want to keep it. so i was thinking i could just go with some better cams? i dont think the cams that come in the kit are gear driven,, i think they are just like the stocks,, just higher lift??

Check out the hq-tc500-hc claim 5.5 hp and 7 tq over SE255. Also HD hasn't improved their head since BC so agree with others to look here also.
