I got a 2011 Street Glide Australian Model with the Actice Exhaust Flap, I've ordered the Fuelmoto Jackpot 2-1-2 header pipe with the HTC ceramic coating, hopefully be arriving in a week or 2, also fitting the SE-254E cams as well at same time, and already using the SEPST, now when i fit the new headers up i know when i download new base map i can check the AEF as disable, now do i just take the cable that runs from the AEF module off and leave the rest in place or do i also have to unplug and remove the module as well,
just thinking removing the cable will all thats needed but thought i just ask on here to find out what others have done, I don't think the USA models have the AEF just International models
TTS will disable the flap if you wish. I rather like the possibilities of the flap if it was possible to flip it on or off from the handlebars. If you had loud pipes and got pulled over for a sound check I'd bet closing the flap would get you through it ?
I too would like to have the flap option...assuming closed, more torque, open more horsepower...a little more control of exhaust velocity.
Be fun to play with.
