Help with air shock pump

I need to put air in my stok shocks that I got from Bichin baggers. I don't have the Harley shook pump yet. Can I use a bicycle tire pump in the meantime?

I would be cautious and just pump in a little at a time,short stroke.
The shocks do not take much air

Yes, you can, but you're going to have to put in a little more air than you want because bicycle pumps will lose some air as you're unscrewing the pump from the air nozzle.

Ah hell just fire up the compressor, just kidding, as was pointed out it takes very little air in the shocks, a few strokes on my shock pump will change the pressure quite a bit.

Bicycle pump is ok. Air compressor is a no no.

I'd start a new thread, example "Help me in Vancouver " or something like that and ask if anybody there could help you out. The Vancouver in the title will attract their attention. I think I've seen several members that post their location as Vancouver.

You may be able to contact the HD dealership there and MAYBE they would help you (I wouldn't mention Bitchin Baggers), but it may not make a difference.

I know guys that use their air compressors all the time. IF you have a good pressure regulator just set it to the pressure you want and let er rip.

A bicycle suspension pump will work as good as the Harley pump. Hard to get a tire pump or compressor to fill accurately because air leaks out when you disconnect it (remember shocks don't hold much air). Also a regular tire gauge will cause loss of air.
