Pushrod position question

Default Pushrod position question

I am stuck....

I cannot find in the service manual which lifter is intake and which is exhaust. Until I figure this out I cannot install the adjustable pushrods....any help is greatly appreciated....

From the right side of your bike, look at the position of your Carb/FI and intake manifold, and then your exhaust.
You will see that the Intake is inboard, and the exhaust is outboard, as the pipes come out of the heads...those are the exhaust valves....follow the pushrods down.
Make sense?

Thanks! So the 2 inside are intake and the 2 on the outside are exhaust?

Yes, the two towards the intake are intake valves. The two to the exhaust are the exhaust.
