Default NEW...360 BRAKE

i got a call the other day from Bart at Cateye Customs in Russelville AR, he goes by Shooter64 on here tellin me about a new kind of brake...Bart & i have been friends for awhile now and both of us always look for the latest and greatest performance stuff...Barts company builds custom bikes of all kinds and of course he sells all kinds of parts...i believe he's fixin to launch an internet based parts house on the level of J&P...nothing Bart does is halfass so yall best get on the bandwagon now cause he loves to talk bikes and takes care of his friends...i have a pic of Cateye Customs but have not yet been able to move it from my email to photobucket but i will, you will be impressed as i was...anyway back to the brake

it looks kinda like a hub...it has 2 brake disks that look like a donut and one rotor ...Barts been runnin one on several of his bikes for some time now and loves em...says they work as good or better than any 6 piston system....he runs only one on his bagger....its all you need and will clean up one side of your wheel so's you can show off them new wheels...i also got some killer new wheels to go with the brake system and lemme tell ya, it just dont git no better....just like Primo, i aint showin em yet...i will show you the brake, inside and out....since this brake is mounted to the hub, you get no gyro effect like the stock rotors give causing a weave when coming to a stop...its internal and close to the center of the wheel and Barts says it arrests ALL instability in addition to superior braking...Porsche & Mercedes are both lookin real strong at this system....check it out as i explain....here's the hub thats mounted directly to the wheel hub

here's that bracket supplied with the kit...it only uses one mounting hole cause the hub/brake assembly is bolted to the wheel hub with the axle goin thru the middle...can you guys with custom wheels picture how much more of that wheel thats gonna show now [8D]

no more rotors...gonna have some for sale soon, black floaters even...right now, Shark Performance Art is doing something special to my new wheels...even Bart will be impressed....i feel like a kid at Christmas.....Cateye Customs has the ability to laser etch and engrave as well as MAKE almost anything you can come up with...HD built us good bikes...but there's lots of ways to make em our own besides goin to the stealer...i like dealing with Charles and Bart at Cateye Customs...pics of it are coming soon...pics of the completed wheel/brake combo will be soon also

The brake system and mounting hardware is cool grand, but before you say ouch, think about the cost of a custom caliper, rotor, mounting hardware, and by the time you pile all that crap on, you cannot see your wheel. I see alot of new stuff, my chopper has air ride front end and back, with a transmission brake, etc, this brake impressed me, the idea first and then the stopping power, you just got to ride one, to believe. The best part is to be able to SEE ALL OF THAT BLINGING WHEEL, now that is what I am talking about. Replacement pads are 45.00 a set retail, and I am convinced that these folks are really on to something, they make them for the rear as well, and they are hub specific because not all wheel hubs are the same. I dont get impressed easily, but this did it for me, these are cool, and will probably save a life or two.

the company that makes that brake is here near me in Brownsburg, Indiana. They had a booth at our HOG chapters MDA event. seems like a really good idea and they seem to stop quicker than the traditional brakes.

Im very impressed! I really like the look & design of that braking system.Heck I'll have to run it by the boss man & we may pick one up for a new custom we will be bulding next! Just wanted to voice my opinion...I like to cost of replacement pads to. Cnat wait to see a pic of it all mounted up on those NEW WHEELS we cant see yet. Thanks for sharing all the new stuff.
