Just wanted to let everyone know how respectful some members are on this forum. The other night I was trying to buy a really nice CVO seat in the classified section. I had responded to the seller and was waiting for the cat to respond all night. Other members had been posting interest also. Finally like 2 am in the morning here the guy starts replying on the forum when things started posting HOG_0308 graciously posted back to the guy to just pm him if I was not interested and bowed out of the contention. Just wanted to say thanks to HOG_0308 and the type of respect held here on the forum. I did get the seat and HOG_0308 did not and I do apologize for that but have great respect for you thanks again.
I have bought and sold several items here on the forum, posted questions and reply s on different threads, and one of the things that strikes me most is the is the sense of trust, respect and the brotherhood that exists on this forum. Thanks to all who make this possible
I have sold a 'ton of stuff' in the classified section of this forum...to a person it has gone basically without a hitch! People respect the others that got in line and responded before them...I have had people mail me checks AFTER I have shipped the part...I even had a lost check situation and the member sent me another one right away! Some really decent people here...and I appreciate them!
+1 I also have bought a few things within the group here. I really respect how sellers will honor people's requests for info and/or interest in the order they come in...I was pretty worried about that when I was trying to buy something a few weeks ago. I have a lot of stuff I need to sell and I will certainly act the same way - If someone is legit interested, I will go in "order" of them showing-up...just makes sense to me.
