I fooled with my Fuelpak for over 2 yrs..and never was really happy with it.
It worked but still had pinging and once in a while it would "hic-cup" within the first minute after starting.

Just installed the Power Vision and the whole RPM range feels smoother.
With the map I have now it's a little richer.
Then again I have not realy put any miles on it....yet

In general, if the map or tune of a Fuel Pak, PCV, PV, or anything else is correct you shouldn't be able to tell the difference. You can have good mileage and optimal performance in one map or tune if properly configured. I get 45-49mpg on the backroads using E10 gas, but only about 35-36mpg in the city. The city mileage is a work in progress.

I would say that if your FP is performing well, just keep it until you need something with more features, like the ability to adjust ignition advance. OTOH a PCV from Fuel Moto would give you a plug-and-play device with a good map installed for your bike's configuration, and IMO at $300 that's the best bargain in the tuner market right now. With it you can dyno-tune if you elect to do that in the future, and FM has a large map library for the PCV should you decide to do any upgrades later on.

With an oil cooler I've had no heat issues running this lean at cruise.

Yeah, it's running too rich, that's not in doubt in the slightest.

The bike will go on a dyno this spring and get a proper tune.
