I had a stealth luggage rack on my 07 FLHRS, no problems. It had a little silver sticker on it that had the max weight but I can't remember what it was, 10-15 lbs. maybe.
The plastic bushings at the quick detach points wear out pretty quick and the whole tour pack will shake like crazy, wife says it beats here up sometimes.
Go to the H-D website and look up the accessory part. There should be downloadable installation instructions that probably have the rating. I bet it is 10 pounds like the tour pak rack. Good luck
I know that has something to do with the "Legal or Max SAFETY load" that we can carry..not about the weight the bike/rack can handle,..
The Saddlemen bag i bought weights 5lbs EMPTY,,so i find this max load in the sticker a little useless if we want to go for a long ride,..

Is that what you tell her to blame it on so you don't go to jail. LOL

I had a feeling someone would go down that road. Hey, I told her to stop resting her face against it.
OP I mis-read the question, sorry for the unnecessary input. Since the stealth rack is bolted right to the chassis, I would imagine you can put more weight on it than you would want to haul.
