Talking FLTRU Just Arrived At The Dealer's

Hello Everyone, My bike finally arrived at the dealer's today. All I did was go to the dealer a few weeks ago to pick up some touch up paint for my SoftTail and my wife and I both started to "just look". Soooooooo.... It was hard to trade in my 03 Heritage Classic but we like to travel and the SoftTail just wasn't the bike for us. I wish I could have kept it but I can't afford two bikes and I needed a down payment. This will be my last bike and I'm hoping the cruise control, ABS and smooth ride will extend my riding years. I want to thank everyone for sharing their knowledge and opinions. I've learned a great deal and gained an understanding of what I'll want to do to the new ride and how to go about it.
See on the forums and maybe on the road

Congratulations! I think you will find the ride much better. The stock seat they are using is much better for long rides than what I had on my 2006 EG Ultra. I'll be glad to suggest other mods if you like.

Please do, all suggestions are welcome. I have ideas for running gear and engine mods and I'm going to the dealer tomorrow or Thurs to discuss options. I'll probably stay with the Screaming Eagle line even though I'd prefer cams, a DynoJet tuner, intake and exhaust from FuelMoto and do the work myself. However, for warranty reasons plus I've been promised discounts on parts and labor, I'm probably going to stay with Harley parts.

To help during longer trips, I added the rider backrest. As I mentioned before, the stock seat works very well so you don't need to worry about switching it. FLTR wind deflector kit to reduce wind coming up from under the fairing.

Most of the stuff I added was for looks.
Chrome trim for the windshield.
Chrome trim for the gauges and radio.
Chrome turn signal visor time ring, smoked lens.
Chrome front axle nut cover.
Chrome Stealth hand grips.
Chrome oval billet mirrors
Highway pegs.
Chrome oil cooler cover kit.
Gear shift linkage, slotted
Billet style heel/toe shift levers.
Nostalgic shifter pegs.
Nostalgic brake pedal pad.
Nostalgic rider footboard inserts.
Nostalgic passenger footboard inserts.
Chrome passenger footboard covers.
Airwing luggage rack.
Airwing rack light kit.
Brake light/turn signal conversion kit.
Rear saddlebag guard kit.
Color matched saddlebag lid spoiler.
Street Glide rear fascia.
Tri-bar light assembly.
SE stage 1 air cleaner.
Chrome SE air cleaner back plate.
Billet air cleaner cover.
Billet air cleaner side insert.
Billet air cleaner medallion, 103 cu in.
SE Pro Super Tuner.
Vance and Hines Dresser Duals head pipes.
Vance and Hines Twin Slash Monster Oval mufflers.

This will give you a good start!

Here's what some of it will look like.
