i have a good friend out in california who installed the new progressive 940's on his 09 roadglide. he's going to be selling them soon i expect because he's going to be calling howard for some ohlins or penske shocks. if you look in the classifieds section here in the forum, you'll see progressive shocks being sold there. they're probably an upgrade from stock, but surely the top tier ones like ohlins are what i'm going to get when i'm done buying other cool stuff.

Default 940's

Just installed them on my 2011 Streetglide. I noticed right away they were alot smoother than stock,BUT umatched to front fork. I have ordered a set of Progressive mono tubes. I was told my my friend not to go with the lowering front mono tubes,he has already gone down that path.Overall very happy thus far with rear shocks. I weigh about 180lbs.they seem to be a little stiffer than stock, they dont buck near as much than stock over the speed bumps on the highway. My biggest reason for throwing these air shocks away. but I was told they need to break in? Will keep you posted on this forum when I install the mono tubkes.

Default 940's

Just installed them on my 2011 Streetglide. They are now unmatched to my stock front fork. I have oredered the mono tubes, not the lowered ones, my friend has already went down that path. They take away alot of the buck from the speed bumps on the highways here in NC, my biggest reason for throwing away these stock $20.00 air shocks away. I weigh 180lbs.Very happy with them thus far. I was told by progressive tech they are recomended for a single rider at 225lbs. So they may ride a little stiffer for my weight. He was right but............so far so good. Will keep you posted once install the mono tubes.

Well, after using these shocks over a month and riding down to Myrtle Beach, SC for bike week two up with my wife with a combined weight of 330 lbs. and with the bike loaded up with luggage and the side bags filled to top, I found that the best setting for the 940's were set at (2 1/2). I then rode solo up to Laconia, NH with about the same amount of luggage and the setting was at (1 1/2). But, when ever I ride solo without luggage the setting is at (1). I like the 940's over the stocks, I have better control on turns and they work well when ever I ride over bumpy roads....
