I'm considering the Progressive 940s for my 09 SG. Anybody have any experience with them? I was considering the 440s but now I'm leaning more toward the 940s. I'd like a softer rear suspension (more travel) than the stock setup. All input and suggestions are appreciated.
I have had them on my Ultra and Classic ( 2010-2011) I do not have a ton of miles on them but they are great for what they do.
You get to drop the bike and still get the ride of a 13" Electra Glide only better, It will not bottom out ! and your ride when you get it dialed in for what you use it for will be a LARGE difference!
It feels a little like a sport bike type of feel, maybe that is wrong in description but it will much better and holds that road great in the straights and corners !
I weight 175lbs and at the lightest setting they sagged about .5" vs the 1" they are suppose to. Other than that they ride nice (once you find the right setting). I have had the 12" 440's and the 940 have a smoother ride IMO. Good luck!
I'd be/am interested too as opposed to dropping serious $$$ for what I have been contemplating for the higher end ones,(for next year probably) and I'm sure you guys know which ones I mean..
