Just got my bike back from Cleveland Harley with my 103 upgrade and wow what a difference in the seat of the pants. Installed the 27513-08B upgrade with the 40274 compensator.
Wanted some low end torque for the mountains out here in CO and it sure feels like it will have more than enough torque for me! I am impressed with how it sounds and feels in just the short ride this morning.

Really nice looking bike! I have a RK classic..just got hard bags so it could be a standard...one day a fairing so it could be a glide... all quick detach so I still have my classic. I Have all the parts for my stage 1 and will install shortly as it warms up. Surprisingly enough I'm already looking into my next mod...cams. What cam upgrade if/did you use? SE 255? I say I have no reason to open up this perfectly fine motor but... I keep hearing "103" !!! The new.. should be the next standard... best yet... and I do feel the need for some low end 2 up torque for the mountains around NY. I even read somewhere that building a 96 to 103 is better than a stock 103. Certainly update us with some more seat of the pants updates !! SC
so there was a big difference in power from the stock 96... I just had the stage 2 103 put on my 07 street glide... I have heard her run and she sounds great but I have yet to ride her...
Congrats! You will definitely have more pulling torque in those Colorado hills! I just traded my 08 Ultra (SE pipes, Ness Big Sucker, Stage 1 download, IEDs) on an 11 Limited (103, SE Cleaner, SE tuner, Rush Pipes, 255 cams) and the difference is UNBELEIVABLE. My buddy with TC88, stage 2 big bore that always busted me could'nt wait to run me - NO CONTEST! He said when I hit 2nd it was all over. But the worse "lickin" was a 4th gear rollon. Still pulling hard in 6th, and ran away from him. Anyhow, there is a definite difference that all of us will enjoy, until we hit the gas pumps.
