Default 2006 Street Glide Question

I just took delivery of a new 2006 Street Glide. I would like to put a Stage 1 on it.Can someone tell me whats involved besides mufflers,intake and EFI mapping?Some one said I will need a Power Commander? Also,how many$$$$ am I looking at?t

K&N HD-0800 filter kit, PCIII, exhaust....simple! Price all depends on exhaust and if you choose dyno tuning!

You can go with a Power Commander or a SERT (screamin' eagle race tuner). OR, as a last option, Harley's stage 1 download but I think you'd be wastin' money with that one.
If you go with the PCIII check out fuel/moto's web site.

The power commander will cost you less than the SERT and its totally removable should you decide to install it on another bike in the future. I just ordered mine from Jamie at Fuel Moto $269. Decide on what pipes and air filter you will be running then give Jamie a call 1-877-729-4754 and he will set up a map that will be close to your combination. Later you can have the bike dynoed to dial in max HP and torque. Lastly I agree that the stage 1 download from Harley is just a waste of $150...................BG
