They came stock on my Ultra but if they didn't, I would have had them installed. They permit you to control the amound of air that comes around the edges of your fairing and, when combined with the hard lowers with their adjustable airflow controllers, really lets you manage the airflow over the motor and over yourself.
They are absolutely worth the money.

The '06 Ultra's still came with the fixed deflectors. One of the best HD's I spent (hundred dollar bills) was for Freedom Wings adjustable deflectors. And I got about $20 in change....
I'm looking forward to trying out the Freedom Wings Plus, to see how they help with the buffeting problem many of us have sitting behind a Batwing.
