Default Cold Fingers

So, I rode my Road King to work today all decked out with my leathers and other goods. It was about 38 degrees when I rode in but warmed up to just under 70 for the return trip home. About the only part of my body that got cold were the tips of my fingers. I was wearing HD full finger leather gloves. I'm sure if I had an aftermarket fairing that would have cut down considerably on the wind coming through them.

What do other Road King riders wear to help keep their fingers warm? Would wearing a liner in my gloves or something be a better bet? There has to be an answer...different gloves?

Help please!

+1 on gerbings to keep you warm. Liners are okay so long as they do not make the gloves too tight; if they are too tight you will get colder with the liner than you would have without.

I agree with Captain Itch. However, you might consider the HD brand electric gloves. I bought the Gerbings and they do a great job in keeping my fingers and hands warm, but they are very bulky. I tried on the HD heated gloves, which I am told are made by Gerbings, and they are not as bulky, and much a more comfortable fit for me. I will probably buy a pair next winter, or see if I can work a deal at the Steeler this spring.

I had the same issue... My hands are the only thing that gets cold. I looked at all kinds of electric gloves (battery operated and the type that plug into your 12 volt system) and wasn't sure that I could justify the price that they wanted for them.
I finally bit the bullet and purchused a set from powerlet products and I would venture to say that this is one of the best investments that I ever made.
They have heated gloves and heated glove liners.
I bought the glove liner kit that they sell, it comes with the battery connection, Y wire, and controller with 5 settings.
It was around 25 degrees the other night and after doing some MOD's to my bike I just couldn't wait for warmer weather, so I went out for a ride. These gloves have 5 different setting and when I left the house I started out on setting 3, after about 15 miles down the rode I had to pull over (because I keep the controller in my inside jacket pocket) and adjust it to setting 2, my hands were just too @#$% hot. I rode about 50 mile all together and my hands stayed nice and warm.
here is a link to what I purchused http://www.powerlet.com/product/rapi...-liner-kit/542
Hope this helps, Jason

Yep, direct line to the battery. I have a set of gerbings gloves as well as the jacket liner. You'll never be cold again
