Default Road King makes knocking noise when turned off.
Hello,
I just had Thunderheaders installed yesterday (Awesome Sound!) When I turn off the bike the engine or gas tank makes a weird knocking noise every three seconds? Can anyone tell me what this might be? Thanks in advance!

Could be those pesky little road gremlins got in your engine....better have someone that cares about you run out and get you one of those guardian ride bells

It sound like the engine is just cooling down. But I don't really think it sounds like knocking. More like ting,ting-ta-ting-ting, sound.

lp is right,but not a common problem on higher end exhaust systems.
