After a nice 200 mile ride two up on the SG I have decided that I need more power. It was recommended that I go with the stage 4 SE package for my 103. Has anyone done this package on their 103? If so what are the SOTP differences?

Thanks in advance for your replies.
If you want more power, you better go bigger than a 103ci.Go as big as your pockets can handle!!
There is a lot more to it than just slapping on a kit of any kind. SE has some nice stuff but the Stage IV put on a 103 is not real eye opening. Those heads and cams are happier with a 113 motor, don't get me wrong, they will work on a 103 just not optimum. I have a 103" that does ok and I am not sure here in So Cal that doing a motor bigger than 113" is nothing more than just a giant pain in the butt. The 100+ degree summers will have a big motor whining hard and you on its back whining just as hard about the HEAT. But what the hell do I know, you could always go big and let the chips fall where they may.
you must be coming off a sport bike if your looking for more power than the 103 delivers, i have a 2011 limited now coming off a ZX14, im impressed with the power
the limited makes. what kind of fuel tuner are u currently using???

Really? I came off a Yamaha Roadliner and I think these things are dogs. I'll admit the 103 has a little more zip than the 96 but it's a far cry from the Yammie.
Go to the top of this page and click on Fuel Moto and check out their stage 1 kits. You already indicate you have an exhaust. With an air filter and tuner you would be at about 98 foot lbs of torque. Thats a nice boost from where you are now for not much money. Use their headers and you will get even more and reduce heat considerably. As you probably know, they are a very reputable company and well liked on this forum. Call them, tell them how you ride and you will get good info. Ride safe.
I came from a Roadstar to a Roadglide. Yes the Star had more power, but the Roadglide is so much more comfortable. If you really need more power, go back to a metric crusier.
Pipes, A/C, a set of cams & a tuner makes a HUGE difference on a 103". SE255's are great cams for 2 up riding and I have a set of take out with less than 4,000 miles on them I'll sell you cheap! PM me if your interested. I'm in So. Cal. so we can meet somewhere and you can inspect them.
I gotta ask, what exactly made you decide that you needed more power? I have a 09 SG and the only real mod to the engine I've made (other than the breather, pipes, and SEST) is a set of S&S 510G cams, and it has plenty of power.
How much do you and your passenger weigh? I'm not asking that as a joke or to screw with you, I'm serious and just trying to understand what you're trying to achieve so I can try to help.
