Mine is still covered by factory warranty until April 1st. This will probably be another one of those situations where it will not mess up at the dealer.
I realize they can't fix something that isn't broken but I hate that dumb *** look on their face when I tell then something is not working.
My 2008 did the same thing, HD replaced it with a refurbished one under warrenty.
They do have to take yours out and send it in. If I remember right I had it back in about a week.

About the time I think everything has been fixed that needs fixing, something else pops it ugly head up.
I went for a ride today and just returned home. Now my stock radio has an issue all of a sudden. Man it's one thing after another with this Harley. I've got an HD XM module and was riding along and the sound goes completely out with the display still on. At first I thought it was a reception problem but the antenna indicator showed full reception. I switched over the FM and the same thing, no sound. After switching the power off and back on everything works find for a while and then it does it again but not with regularity. In a 40 mile trip it did it maybe 6 times.
Anyone else had this happen?
It's the speaker select switch. A friend had the same thing happen with his 09 Ultra.

I considered that possibility.
After taking the tour pack is off I adjusted the speaker balance control on the radio to full front. This morning I switched the speaker select switch you are referring to in all 3 positions and the front speakers worked in all 3. That isn't correct I don't think. I'm pretty sure the full forward position isn't suppose to work at all for the fairing mounted speakers is it?

I can't remember which position is what.... but in one position, the speakers should be off, for communication through the headsets.
