After reading this I had a set put on at Daytona Bike week and the next night I rode home on a back country road that was pitch black and they confirmed my decision.
Trucklite also makes LED lights for the military and I have used them in Iraq and Afghanistan and they are great products.
I'm waiting on delivery of the Trucklite headlight and passing lamps. Installed led all around for the signals tail and brake , tourpak too. Looks great so far. Will include some pics down the road.
I dropped in the Ultrabright Silverstar and adjusted
the beam up for more of a straight out beam, and
am happy with it as all riders tell me they know it
is me by my headlights and I get flashed by cages
to dim them at night. They get a surprise when they
find out they were on "DIM" to begin with.
With that said, I am considering a LED headlight
and driving light combination also.
