The Wife and I were in Hacienda Harley Davidson the other day and noticed there "drop seat kit". WOW. What a great look and design! A custom Corbin seat and a dropped subframe. $$$$
This is probably old news for everyone in the Phoenix area but this "Flatlander" was blown away! Put me on the "Jealous" list!!
If anyone has any pics they would like to show off, Please DO!
The only drop seat kit that I am aware of that uses a dropped subframe for the new touring frames is actually a FBI kit (fat baggers Inc) http://store.fatbaggers.com/20drseco.html
I bought an FBI Drop Seat Kit on an impulse buy while in Laughlin. They installed in about 3 hours. It originally came with a Danny Gray seat. I later had a Corbin made for it. Good quality and design. I am a happy short camper!
Looks like your new seat in the pic is raising the seat back up to the height of my Brawler? I've been looking at these, saw them in person at sturgis etc.. For my wife. She wants/needs hard bags but sat on a lowered Fatboy and now thinks she wants one of those. I keep telling her to just get a SG.
notrailers & SDVmnt, That is BAD ***! Thanks for the pictures.
I don't know why they aren't advertising this!? WTF?
The pic in SDVmnt's post really shows what is involved with the change. It looks like Hacienda is using a FBI kit with there own seat (made by Corbin) for there baggers. Looks great with the larger bags and plush lining! Wow! I am impressed.
I am a short rider also and have seen these advertised... IF you are short and when sitting on the seat set up - how well can you see the road over the fairing???
