Jenna,

I'd suggest one of two things: if you like Wild Ones, give them a call. They are helpful folks. Secondly, check out Hill Country Customs - they sell their bars as kits with all cabling to match.
Then find a local indy to do the install.

I put Wild One 508 on my 2007 Road King. I ran all wires internally, no wire extensions needed, used original clutch and brake lines. 6 hours start to finish.

Not true. I put the hd pull back bars on my 09 ultra and they are fine, different wrist angle than the stock bars but fine. I'd say it took about three hundred miles to get used to them but that was after 20k on the stock bars. Mother Road in AZ did the job for $535 and all I needed was the longer clutch cable and a new left grip.

I couldn't do the $1100 mod with the dealer-too much money. I bought the HD pullback bars, $150 and did the job myself. Took a while but I ran the wiring internally and reused the stock brake line. The clutch cable was kinking slightly when I turned the bars hard left so I had the dealer install a new clutch cable. I didn't think it would be a problem but changed it for peace of mind. Cost for everything was about $320.

I don't remember having any trouble getting used to the bars. No problem with wrist angle. They fit me fine and they got rid of the burn between my shoulder blades. I'm happy.

I'm happy with the HD pullbacks. I kept it wired externally, with the exception of the TBW or course. I changed grips as well. I didn't need to purchase a new brake or clutch cable either. Overall it took me 3 hours and about $250, because I bought a new set of grips as well.
