Default Tires & tubes ????

Do you guys replace the tube everytime you get a new tire ?? Gonna replace the rear tire very soon, and wanted an opinion ....Thanks in advance !

I do, but only as a precaution. It comes down to the deterioration of the rubber in the tube - if you put a lot of miles on your bike and change tires frequently, you could probably change it every second of third tire. I'll go through 3 rears for every front, and I don't worry about the condition of my front tube.

Yes, I did when I ran tubes and just did on my daughter's bike. Cheap precautionary insurance.

These days I'm all tubeless. When I did have tubes I replaced the tube and rubber band with every tire.

I replace the tube and rubber band as the cost is minimum. When the wheel is removed look for any signs of rust. Rust should be removed, as the abrasion cause by the tube rubbing against the rust can cause a problem. Also a good time to check all the spokes and put a dial indicator on the wheel to check for true running.

Both tube and rim strip (if spoke wheels like mine) every tire change. Cheap insurance.

Yep, I always replace both rim strips and tubes with tire changes. as others have stated above, it's cheap insurance.
