I followed the manual and removed the ignition block while the bars had the fork lock engaged.
Put a screw drive in the hole twisted it, heard a click and the fork lock was off.
Now here's the problem.
Went to refit the ignition block put it will not reseat as it was before.
Anyone got any tips to get the clicky bits realigned so I can refit the ignition lock??
What manual are you using? I ask becaue I have the '04 HD Touring Service Manual and your reference to putting a screwdriver in and twisting it makes no sense. The ignition switch **** removal procedure changed in the 2006 model year; the '05 is the same as the '04.
The video posted CLL375 is for '06 and newer models.
