The video is for an '06 and newer model; the '04 ignition **** removal is different. The procedure is well explained in the HD Service Manual at section 8.18 of the '04 SM. If you're thinking of replacing the bars yourself, buy the manual; it will be your best friend. If you're planning to replace the bars, it's also a good time to replace the handlebar bushings with the better urethane bushings. Another procedure well-explained in the manual.

If you can't wait to get the SM, this is the procedure: Put the key in the ignition in the unlock position; rotate the ignition **** to the ACCESS position; depress the release button at the bottom left side of the **** with a small screwdriver; push the key down and rotate the key in counter-clockwise direction an additional 60 degrees; lift and remove the ignition ****.

The "release button" is located on the interior, lower left of the ****.

Thanks Carl! I wasn't finding the "release button." I have manual by Climer... Probably should have gotten HDs. Again, many thanks.
