Check this out, especially the reimbursement and credit memo paragraphs. Print it out and show it to your dealer. HD is willing to reimburse tire cost plus labor if you paid anything for a tire/install like I did. I got the full amount via a store credit. I think it was dawg who posted this a long time ago.

Thats good to hear your getting a refund, i was going to say that they replaced mine for free at 3000 mi but I thought I heard somewhere that if it measured 3/32nds or less tread depth it would possibly be only covered for 50% of the cost of the tire and labor. Glad it worked out for you. Ride safe.
