Default Labor charge ?

I just picked my bike up last weekend after getting some motor work/service done. My front tire was replaced under the TSB with about 6k miles on it. I was looking at the labor charges and saw that I was charged $50 labor to replace the tire. Is this common with TSB type service versus warranty/recall type work? I think it's a good deal getting a new tire r&r, mounted and balanced for $50 but just wondering. Thanks....

My first D407F replacement I paid for a new tire and labor. About $250 that they eventually gave me store credit for. The second one, the replaced free.

Is the bike still under factory warranty?

I think they gotcha, but not too bad. You might mention it the next time you're there. They may give you a gift card or something. Every dealership is different and if you're happy, they sure are.

I took my 09 FLHX to a dealer in NW Arkansas. They told me that the tire was worn and I'd have to pay 50% labor and 50% tire. I had measured the tread and knew that was BS. I called HD and was told that even if the tire was worn I would not have to pay labor. I took my bike up to Joppin HD and the tire and labor was covered 100%. There are good dealers and bad.

Your Dealer owes you 50 bucks, it should have been replaced free.

I had my front tire replace at 8000 miles for no charge , I guess it depends on the dealer.

Well, I think I will make an inquiry with the dealer today. I guess it it was cupped enough to replace under warranty/TSB, it should include the labor charge to complete it. Thanks for your input...
