Question Muffler Bronzing - Normal?

Stock exhaust setup on 2010 RK. is this bronzing normal? If so, what would cause this to happen on one side and not the other? Something to do with the head pipe in 2010 Models?

Thanks
R

Catalytic converter in the head pipe is likely getting hot enough to cause the yellowing.

blue flht got the answer in first!

How many miles do you have on it? My pipes on my 2010 Ultra haven't did it yet. Only 9.800 miles.

I've noticed the head pipe, not the heat shields, but the pipe discolored like that. With only 2,300 miles I wouldn't think it would do that so soon. Do the RK's have the cats in the head pipe or the exhaust? My Ultra has it in the head pipe.
