In December I purchased a Power Commander USB III for my 2008 Roadking. With the Power Commander installed on my bike it will not idle. After calling DynoJet and talking to the customer service rep. he told me to do several things. They include:
Reseting the unit, adjusting the throttle position, bending the power connector for the ground, changing the map and replace the fuel line. None of these fix the problem. Also, I have installed a new fuel filter, fuel filter shell, fuel regulator, quick disconnect, and crank sensor. The Roadking is stock other than a SE air cleaner.
I have read several posts that others are having the same problem. What did they do?
I have made about 5 calls to DynoJet. They don't seem to care.
I would disconnect the PC and if does idle, then you could have a defective PC, if it still continues to not idle, then your problem is outside the PC and you will need to look elsewhere for the problem
The power commander has been removed and re-installed several times. When the power commander is on the bike will not idle and dies. With the power commander off the bike runs and idles great.
I just picked my 2011 RG up last thursday and the same thing happened to me I have exhaust, ac, cams and a PC V. the dealer came on friday and picked up replaced the PC V and all was well, apparently power commander's quality control is slipping. My dealer says they've had more issues with the PC's and have started to push the SERT's more.

The dealer I go to said they have seen the pcIII take out an ecm before. They said they can get them to tune but they dont recommend them to anyone. I sold my pcIII and went with a SERT. I have also heard good things about the TTS tuner. Good luck.
