Can't speak for the 2010 directly, but installing the FatCat on my 2008 RoadKing was straightforward. Everything lined up as it should. D&D's fit and finish is excellent.
Not a nightmare. Just follow the instructions...especially about leaving the thing loose until you have all the assembly on...then tighten. I think if you do a search on YouTube they actually have a couple of videos on installation.

This is from Leonard at D&D you are looking at the Jap bike install instructions that also comes with the D&D's. It would be on the first page of your supplied instructions you are looking at the sport bike install.
