Default Shark Evoline 2 - anyone have one of these?

Looking for comments from those of you who have one of these helmets. I want a full face, and like what this one does. Problem is that no one sells that helmet in Canada, and I would have to order online.

Reviews from users appreciated.

I have one!

I bought it over the winter, so I've only been able to use it a few times. The functionality of it is amazing. I bought it mostly for longer trips, but I've used it exclusively since I've had it to get used to it.

A lot of the reviews I've read said that it's heavy, which may be true when compared to some of the top of the line full face helmets, but it doesn't seem overly heavy to me. It is big though. In either open or closed mode, it looks pretty damn big on your head. Personally, this doesn't bother me a bit, since I have several long trips planned for this summer, and I like to ride with an open face up until I get some weather and then want to close it up, all the while not caring how I look.

Aerodynamically, it seems really sound both open and closed. Especially open, I have another cheap modular helmet that is a total sail if it's left open. Not the shark, this one really works well both ways.

Really, I think if they were able to make the overall size a little smaller, everyone would have one of these. It's pretty sweet.

Yep I rode with the original Evoline for about a year and upgraded to the series II about 4 months ago. I purchased both on-line from revzilla. Good price and great service. I was looking for something that would cover all weather conditions. I ride with it in the 3/4 position probably 99% of the time because it's so warm around here. I recommend you definitely get the series II as it's much improved over the original and worth the price difference. I'd be glad to answer any questions you have. You can also check out www.webbikeworld.com for a detailed review if you haven't already.

I have a Shark and love it. You can go from full to 3/4 and back again while riding, I like the sun shield, I usually use my regular helmet a little more, but if it's a little cool or I don't know what the weather is going to be, out comes the Shark. It's the only full helmet I have, and it's because it converts, I don't like being closed in anymore than I have to.

Got mine here, and added an Edsets headset. Really check the sizing chart, as I'm a Medium or a Large in most other helmets, but a Small in the Shark.

It's an incredibly well-made helmet, but it does get a bit loud (it's louder than the HJC FS-10 I replaced), and it's got a big silhouette, which is necessary to conceal all the crap it does.

I have one as well; excellent helmet! I'll echo the statements above and add that initially it was tighter than I expected, but wore in in a few hundred miles. I have the Interphone F4 headset mounted in the helmet, and while it took some fitting, it's working extremely well.

I'm very pleased with the Shark Evoline2!
