Do you think these Tourmaster Response SC Road boots would ruin my SG image? They sure feel comfortable and offer good protection and they are waterproof. I'm not crazy about the looks but I'm thinking of function. I'm just a little woried about my image. They are more BMW looking.
Note: there is a leather flap in the front that covers the laces.
What do you think?
Personally I don't like them at all but I'm not buying them, you are. So if you like them who cares if 99% of the people who see them say they look like ?????.
Streetrunner, it doesn't sound like you like the boots so I would reccomend against them. That said I DO NOT think that your image is important. Your safety is though. I prefer safety over image when it comes to protective gear. I wear high quality, motorcycle specific boots(no pictures in case the critics want to come out and inspect my footwear) and full fingered gloves with the appropriate padding, extra leather in the palms and reinforced knuckles. I need my hands to feed myself and my feet to walk my *** down to the beer store so I try to protect those extremeties. I don't buy into the Harley Image thing where I feel the need to be dressed like a Hell's Angel. I wear what I want and the guys I ride with understand it. Hell the jacket I wear is a Spyke from my 2 piece roadracing suit and everybody I ride with likes it. I think it's because of the crash scars personally well that and since it is black and gray it kinda matches my bike
Wow, they sound like great boots to me. As long as they're comfortable, and fit under the shifter and so on. If YOU like em, get em !!! I wear cowboy boots to ride, but I wear them everywhere. I like em!! F what people think.
Madav8tr that was funny.
Streetrunner if you like them then get them, but I my self think the do look alittle weird. I wouldn't wear them if they were given to me.
Personally, I think they are homely. But, I also really don't care too much what others think. I wear a pair of Rocky boots (look like military jump boots). Couldn't beat the price (got em for free at work), and they do the job w/o looking like rubber slippers.
