Do you think these Tourmaster Response SC Road boots would ruin my SG image? They sure feel comfortable and offer good protection and they are waterproof. I'm not crazy about the looks but I'm thinking of function. I'm just a little woried about my image. They are more BMW looking.
Note: there is a leather flap in the front that covers the laces.
What do you think?
Why do you care what other people think about your boots? If you like them get them, if another rider doesn't think they "go" with the bike your riding, tell them to go **** themselves. In fact, telling someone to go **** themself is what I think of when I think of someone acting in a mtter that portrays a proper "Harley Image".

Guess you pose a valid question. I really don't know how to express this "image" with words but I'll give it a shot hoping not to offend anyone. I think Harley's are tough and rugged looking. I like that look. I don't want to be dressed like I should be on a Gold Wing while riding my Harley.
I guess the real question is do these boots look out of character for a Harley Rider, are they too European looking?
It's a pair of boots man, who cares. Who are you riding with that look at your boots? Hell, I am not sure any of the guys I ride with wear shoes, hell they may not have any feet at all, I don't know. I don't look at, much less critique, another mans footwear. Get what you like.
They look like little elf slippers...just in time for Christmas. I'd go the other way if I saw a ruff/tuff harley rider wearing them. JUST KIDDING! If you like the fit go for it, your "real" friends won't dump you because you have them.
