i posted in exhaust but no response.
i have a supertrapp 2 into 1 exhaust on my electra glide. i want to replace the closed end cap with an open end one. does anyone have a pic of what it will look like? thanks, vinnie
Keep in mind, if you go that route, open end equals approximately 10 discs on dual slip-ons. Not sure about a 2 in to 1 set up. Contact Supertrapp for tuning advice. They're very helpful.
I have the Supertrapp slip-ons and really like the fact that I can tune the exhaust to my liking. Although I've only had them since Christmas, with about 750 miles on them, I am very pleased with their product.
my testing showed it to be 6 or 7 discs. I standard answer from Supertrapp says 10 but I found the best results running 10 discs and open and 16 or 17 closed. This was on my 04 with 95", mild head work, 26G cams. I really liked the sound of the open end cap better too.
I'm running closed cap/20disc 95",203 cams,KN HD0800 breather, on the dyno for a readjustment from my SEpro slip-ons.......20 disc /closed gave me the best increase in HP,I've run the suppertrapp for a year now,it has woken up abit on sound, and barks when twisting the throttle open. My SE pro slip ons broken in had a deeper growl, but the super trapp 2 into 1 picked up my hp 8.75 over the stock pipes with se pro slip on's
I'm pleased with the supertrapp 2 into 1
