New Muffers odd colour?

New Muffers odd colour?
I installed Bassini slip ons last winter and have riden about 300mi. left muffler has a tan colour when you look inside, right is black in colour just as it was installed. I know that when removing automotive spark plugs they are the tan colour if all is running well, but way would one show and not the other, lastly I did not do any remapping or air cleaner changes, only mufflers and the bike runs great love the sound. Not sure what year bike you are running, or how the newer bikes exhaust actually works, but the older bikes (pre'08) running a stock head pipe have more exhaust coming out of the right side than the left. The left is mostly cosmetic on those bikes with stock head pipes.
