My firstride today with my klockswerk 6 inch shield.
I had a standar 6 inch on before this and this klockswerk SUCKS LOL
im 5'5 with a mustang solo seat look well over he top but man thus thing is like a stock streetglide shield !!
I love the way it looks but im going to try the Harley Windsplitter!!!

 

Wow! Folks have been swearing by them. I was planning on going out to pick up one today. But maybe not.

 

This is the first bad thing I've heard on them too! Anyone else wanna let us know what you think? I've been curious about these...

 

Save your money and buy the 10" KW or a flip type.

The WindSplitter perfroms just like the KW 6".

 

hey, I'm just your average guy that's been riding for 47years. Please don't take this the wrong way, but why would think that replacing one 6" W/S with another 6" W/S would make any difference? If you want wind protection get the stock FLHT W/S. I'm sure someone can chime in on one that works for them. I can tell you what works on my 11 FLTRX & it's a WV 14" Light Grey. but that don't help you. Looks & function when it comes to W/S maybe 2 different things. can any of you SG guys help.

 

I use the stock Ultra Shield on long rides !!
But I would like something more sporty and has SOME protection just running around!!!!



The klockswerks is 6 inch the Harley windsplitter is 7 inches it may be a little better!!

 

Just did the first ride today with my Klock Werks 8.5" and lovin it!

 

I am 5' 10" and I use the LSR 6" Ultra Flip works fine and I can look over it. Oh also have a T bag and it fits perfect ! That counts also

 

Works great. Never had a problem.

 

I had my 6.5 KW for years and love it, switched it over from my 06 glide.
