Default Handle Bars

Hello folks,
I recently road from Jacksonville, Florida to Key West averaging 350 miles per day on my 08 Ultra which has stock handle bars. Does anyone have any input on raising the bars up that would make a 400 mile day more comfortable? A buddy of mine has some higher bars and swears by them. Keep in mind I'm not talking ape hangers, just something taller than stock. Any input would be appreciated.

Regards,
Dave

I run khromewerks +2 sweepers and love them. You would need the 300515 bars and a 38649-08 clutch cable.

Try rotating yours up first. Every Harley I have owned I rotated the bars up higher than they were and was much more comfortable.

if you just need a little higher the kw +2 sweepers will do. 2 up and 2 back, thats what i have on my street glide much better than stock, and a pretty cheap upgrade.

You might want to check out the Wild 1 Chubby bars website.

Went with Wild 1 bars for my 4th try to get bars for my '09 RG that were comfortable and finally got something that works. Quality is also excellent.

I vote for the +2 Krome Werks sweepers as well. Ordered them from Dennis Kirk. I think they were like $80 or some where close to that.

I just ordered the 300515 Khromeworks. The Fatbook part number: 1-0601-0841. (I hope that is the right anyway!
