Default Rider backrest - Do you like it?

I am planning on taking some long trips on the bike this year and was considering adding a rider backrest.

If you have one do you like it and would you recommend it?

Thanks, Craig

Two guys at work swear by them. One is a Mustang brand, the other a H-D unit... Thinking hard myself about one.

Well worth the money. After having one on my previous bike, I didn't even think about not having one on my current bike.

Tried one on a 800 mile ride. It was in the saddlebag on the way home.

I have one on my bike and will NOT ever have another bike without one. The support from the backrest is well worth the extra money.

I had one on my last bike, and couldn't wait to get one on this bike. Makes a huge difference in comfort.

I just installed the HD adjustable this weekend and it really did help on a 6 hour ride. I did adjust it while riding and found that when I get tired, just adjusting the position a little helps too.
