I really don't think that my bike has as much power that it had before this last problem with the power commander, but I noticed yesterday that the RPM locations are in difference areas. For example; before the power commander problem when I was going 70 MPH in 5th gear, my RPM's would be at 3000. Yesterday when I was in 5th gear, I did not reach 3000 RPM's until I hit 80 MPH. I guess this could change with the new down load. I just don't know if it is good or bad or if it don't matter at all. What do you think? I would not think that it would hurt it do you?
He has had nothing but problems with his 2010 Street Glide with the Dyno jet v. Just after the last service, the bike would not start. HD downloaded another sequence from the manufacture and this is how the bike runs now.

I think that sounds about right actually.
Also, if you or your buddy bought your PC-V from F/M then they will work w/you until it is right, if not then something's a miss.
There is no way a "tuner" is going to change what rpm your bike is turning at a given speed/gear.
RPM at a given speed and gear is all determined by gear ratios, sprocket size, and tire size.
Tuning a bike will not change those mechanical parts.
Unless of course, you change sprocket size and/or tire size at the same time you had it tuned.
That's what my thought was on this issue. But then again. Without me riding the bike and seeing what he is talking about. I kind of half wonder if he is seeing what he thinks he is seeing.

Did you get your PC-V from F/M?
He has the Vance & Hines power duals with the monster ovals and the PC-V all put on at the same time. Since then he has had the transmission go up and had his rings leaking by on his 103. HD went out and got 96 jugs and had them bored to a 103 and repaired his trans. Still, I am starting to think that this bike is a lemon. Just to many issues for one bike to have in a year.
