I have a 2003 Electra Glide that I'm interested in putting a 21" wheel on. I'd like to go with a single sided rotor. Has anyone ever thought about putting a 21" Night Train wire wheel on their bagger?? What would it take to complete the swap?? New bearings....axle??? Let me hear some opinions....and pics if it has been done!! Thanks.

 

ive never really heard of anyone doing that, but i think you would have a weight issue there, or atleast thats what ive been hearing...

 

Too narrow

 

I'm not sure of the width of one. I did see a Deluxe with a 21"x2.5" wheel with a stock fender and it looked good. Does anyone know the width of a stock night train wheel?

 

90/90-21 > 2.15" wheel
120/70-21 > 3.50" wheel

 

This is kind of the look I'm going for. It looks close to a Night Train wheel to me???
