Default Should I upgrade my Dyna FXD

Hello all. I am currantly looking a trading my 09 FXD dyna in on either a 2011 roadking or the 2010 streetglide. Both are brand new. I am leaning towards the streetglide because it seems to fit me better as it has a lower seat height, and I love the tac. I am wondering thoughts from all of you. I live in the country and any where I go is at least 15 miles. love long day rides. The dyna setup I end up with pain in my neck because I have to lean over.

Thoughts?

I traded my 09 dyna for an 06 streetglide, best move I ever made. Much better ride much better brakes. 2 up when coming to a stop the bike feels top heavy but you get used to it.

I just traded my 05 WG for a 2010 FLHX and love it so far.
I think I'll miss the WG on hot summer days, though. But those are few around here.
Like you, I was looking at a RK as well, but the streetglide was abetter fit for me, much more comfortable riding position.

Default the ride

Yes, sitting on the roadking it was a touch to tall. I riding position on the streetglide fits much better. And the last thing I want to do is buy a bike I have to drop a lot of $ in before it feels perfect. The riding season is just starting here. I dont want to be halfway through summer before I get the ride perfect

I went from a Dyna Lowrider. Will never look back. Love the Street Glide. Tunes, fairing, bags, ABS etc

Hi Brian from the UK and welcome to HDF. Got family in CO. The only comment about the SG is that with lower shocks it may not be very friendly when riding 2-up unless you are both fairly lightweight. Really is worth trying one solo, then 2-up. We have solutions if you buy an SG and want to improve ride quality!
