I'm curious if anyone has, or has ran across, a quick dis-connect for the antenna masts, FM and CB, for the Ultra Tour Pack. I know back in the day the car CB radio antennas had a quick dis-connect and thought that it would be nice to have. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
Many moons ago before there was Cat 5 network cables there was BNC network cables. Another forum member said that he had used BNC connectors on his radio/CB antennae cables. Might be worth a try.
I have a BNC crimper and some fittings - maybe I should try it on my CB cable (I already moved the radio antennae under the fairing.).

Thanks for the reply ... actually I just want to be able to remove the mast only.
otherwise, loop a zip tie loosely onto your tour pak rack.
bend the antenna over and put the tip of the antenna into the loop
that'll keep you from getting tangled up in the garage

Hey Mike .... yep I got an "engineered mini (really small and short) bungee cord" that fits snuggly on the antennas and I hook it to the seat grab strap when I cover it up now. Yes ... on my last bagger I did catch the antenna in the garage door when closing it and "Snap - Crackle - Pop" there went that antenna ... live and learn right. I just thought it'd be neater and easier if I had the disconnect .... thanks for your input. I appreciate the reply.
