I reused my stock turn signals and you will have to buy your choice of auxillary lamp bulbs. I went with the smoked bulbs P.N. 68273-03A click me but there are many other bulb configuaration to choose from click here
If you have a Street Glide the kit above and your choice of bulbs is all that you have to buy. You do NOT have to buy the bullet turn signal kit.
Only pic I have handy that some what shows my lamps just installed them last week I got them for my b-day easy install just follow instructions you will probably need a service manual or inquire on here how to remove your ignition switch to install the supplyed switch dot have part# handy but the h-d web site will list the right ones.http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...IM000220-1.jpg
I believe it is 69227-04A but would like a confirmation from someone who has already purchased and installed it.
This is NOT the kit that you want to buy for your Street Glide. This kit is for other touring bikes that already have the passing lamps. It replaces the bar that is original equipment on EG's, Road Kings, etc.
bdjhog,
Funny that if I do a search for accessories for an '07 SG this item doesn't even show up. Looks like what I need, appreciate your post. Added to the Christmas wish-list.
Also are these something the average tool guy can do.
I was hopeing that Harley would make something that would be plug and play.
Thanks

A manual would be beneficial for installing these. It's pretty straight forward, but if you don't know how to remove the ignition switch it can be a little trick to figure out or have someone explain to you in an e-mail. The other tricky part is removing the pins from the stock turn signal wires in order to be able to remove the wires from the housing. I ended up using a very small finishing nail, but the manual refers to some special tool. Those are the only two parts of the installation I think you need the manual for. The rest you can figure out with common sense and following the directions with the kit.
My suggestion would be to take the money you are considering paying the dealer to install these with and buy the manual for your bike. It will pay for itself in just one or two DIY jobs.

just purchased the passing lamps for my SG from the dealer; doing the install myself (dealer wanted $378 for passing lamps and rear crash bars) is there anything special I need for this install?
Ok how do I get someone to tell me or what ever they feel good about to
let me know how to do the ignition switch removeal so I can do the aux lites. Also do they
come with another switch that will fill one of the blanks?
Thanks
