Crotch Cooler - it's a good quality, precision cut, and robust piece of leather. Installation is a 5 minute task. I laid my crotch cooler right over my factory deflectors on my ’09 FLHTCU. It's a day and night difference in comfort from reducing the heat rising off the rear pipe and cylinder.
Just out of curiosity, what was the temperature outside while you were riding? And are you running the factory headpipes on you bike with catalytic converters in them?
It was 90 degree's out and yeah I still have the stock headpipe w/cat
My wife was begging me to get rid of the Cat in the header pipe on her SG Trike, because the heat was burning her right leg. We bought Crotch Cooler's from Captain Itch, she hasn't mentioned the heat since. Bottom line, They work!!

Capt Itch…… my ***** thank you.
I debated removing the stock deflectors, but just installed the cooler over the top as well.
Ignore the dirtiness...
Cap'n I know most of these Harley ridin guys need the big crotch heat shield. I'm just not that big of guy, does that cooler come in sizes for smaller crotches as well ?

Just tell us what you are looking for? Got a pattern for an idea...just give us a holler.
Just got mine and it was super easy to install and lays flat, does not dog ear. Quality leather and a BIG BIG difference here on SoBe on the causeways and in the heavy construction. Thank you Captain
If I've said it once, I'll keep saying it again. BIGGEST BANG FOR THE BUCK mod you will ever make! With or without exhaust system mods, you will immediately notice the difference! A BIG DIFFERENCE!
NOW - if only there was a cure for swampass!

I have had the Capn's Crotch Cooler on my '09 Ultra for 2 years and if I ever by another bike that this won't fit on I will have one made and they are awesome people to deal with. When I first got mine I laid it over the mid frame deflectors but when I got the true duals I had to remove the M F D's and still works awesome.
Captain is ther any ideas for making one that can direct the heat away from mamas shins, I am good to go but she still gets alot of heat on the front of her shins even with the duals I have which are Freedom Performance with the rear cylinder coming out the left side.

Throw a 20 lb bag of ice on the back seat. Get to highway speed in 95 degree heat and high humidity. You going to think you have AC with the water droplets flying around in the slight vacuume. Try it.
As unpleasant as it gets around here in the summer, I may well give that a try. The notion sound silly, but plausible as well.
