Hello,
I have a 2004 Harley Davidson Road King Classic. I am running a stage 1 air
cleaner, Reinhart true duals and a PowercommanderIII USB. I am hearing
several people claim that the use of the power commander voids my warranty, and that I can expect the powercommander to cause my ECU to fail. I don't buy it, but I would like to hear your take on this situation. I have used power commanders on sportbikes, and never had a problem. Thank you for your
help in this matter,

Sascha,
This is absolutely not true. This is usually a scare tactic used to get you
to buy something else. The Power Commander cannot void your warranty, unless it damages the bike and the manufacturer can prove it. There are laws
against this. The Power Commander is incapable of damaging the bike as it sends no current to the bike/ECM. All it does is intercept the injector pulse width signal (a ground) and fire the injectors (by grounding them). It is basically a really fast, accurate ground. It does not generate current.
