I recently put a set of the PM renthals on - basically a great well refined product. The only issue is they come with rather short set screws. Once you drill the dimples on the bars the set screws don't have a lot of thread engagement - so i used longer (stainless) ones that are just flush with the outside of the grip.
I've had the PM Renthals on several bikes for around 4 years. The set I have right now is 3 years old. The grip material finally became smooth and I replaced the renthal inserts for 30 bucks. Kinda expensive yes, but worth it!
Only complaint I have with these grips is that they don't have a plastic inner sleeve or something to help the grip slide over the handlebars (when giving it throttle). Sometimes they can get kinda grabby/sticky with the metal on metal action. So..... I put a little red bearing grease inside the grip and all is well. No, no issues with the grease and the TBW sensor.
Always seemed to use Iso Grips over the years until I got hooked on The RSD Trackers.
Just put new bars on the bike and invested in another pair of the RSD Tracker's Contrast Cut (last set was Chrome) and not only do they work well they just maybe the coolest looking grips on the market!
Definitely get what you pay for and in my eyes worth a few extra small dollars.
Send a PM to Perfromance Machince. Sean is his name and he will give you one hell of a deal. I love mine. I went with the black ones. Their mirrors are pretty nice as well but that is beyond the point. If he has some laying around he will give you a great deal.
