Looks good! I really prefer the black housings with the chrome switches vs. chrome housings with black switches! I went with chrome housings & switches but, next bike I'm going this route! Congrats!!

was it pretty simple to put on the chrome switch covers? Are they just covers and....does everything wanna fall apart when you took the controls apart??

Me too! I've put on all kinds of chrome, changed pegs, mirrors, brake lever, shift lever, Stage II A/C, pullback risers, Bright *** tail light, 4 way LEDs, run/brake/signal kit, sissy bar, license plate, highway bar, belt guard, full 2:1 exhaust system, etc., but so far, I'm too chicken to do the buttons, housing, and clutch/brake levers!

i hate things that fall apart once you take out all the screws, otherwise i'd have already swapped out my switch buttons for the chrome ones. it looks very sharp, well done.

This was one of the 1st things I did to mine, get a service manual. It made it easy, took about 45min. Good luck. Oh,and that does look better than the chrome with black buttons. I too added some chrome screws and since I have the XM Radio handlebar mount I had to go to HD and buy 2 longer screws because the mount only came with longer BLACK screws.
