Thanks Navy. Like you said I always try to buy gas from a busy station & a good brand,but that doesn't seem to make much of a difference.

Getting ready to attempt this myself. For you that have done it, did you also replace the "fuel supply check valve/tube" as was suggested in the vid that potato potato referenced?

Wondering what it costs. In fact it would be interesting if those who know would post part numbers complete with the cost and what is included.

Like:
Fuel Filter , part# 61001-01 $52.95
It includes the filter, Screws??, gasket??, hoses??

Fuel supply check valve with fuel line $ ???
It includes ??

Just ordered the filter kit $68 , Holly Crap and I need 10 new screws at $1 each and don't forget the gasket at $6 - OUCH and thats just the parts... lol

What does the kit include? Is it just the filter and O ring?

Can't answer any better than that, as I looked at my service manual and took it to the shop to be done while I relaxed in the shade. I'll need another next service and the dealer will be doing the filter and I'll be relaxing in the shade again. I'm not paying $95.00/hr for easy stuff, but if it don't look like fun, it's off to the dealer it goes.
