Default Harbor Freight Motorcycle Table?

Is this thing really junk like most of the Chinese products there or is it decent enough to use for simple oil changes and cleaning my bike?

Personally I wouldn't put my 800 lb, multi-multi thousand dollar bike on those things. I've looked at them and decided to buy a Pro-Lift instead. It cost more but I've never regretted it, and am never uneasy about the bike on the lift.

Solid as a rock, even when the bike isn't strapped down. Just put a good chock on it and don't use the cheap wheel vise it comes with.

had mine for 5 years this summer, keep my bike on it all the time, did a cam swap in Jan. left it on the lift for 2 weeks all the way up, it droped about a inch, every one of my buddys bring there bikes over to use it to work on there bikes, at the time it was on sale for 299 with air lift, if it went out today I would buy anotherone from them tomorrow, if for nothing else than for cleaning the bike, don't have to bend over or crawl around on the floor, second the dump the cheap wheel vice..

What is the difference between the two where both of them have the same lifting capacity: 1000 lbs?

Who makes the Pro-lift, USA, or China?

Just curious!

From what I remmber when I checked them out, the HF version just felt flimsy and didn't seem put together very well. Stability was an issue on the one I checked out too. It's been a while, so I don't remember all the details.

Lots of things will lift 1000 lbs, but it's in how they lift it, stability, sturdiness & consistency. Thats where units like the Handy and the Direct-Lift shine.

I believe the Direct-Lift units are made in China. Don't know for sure.

I went with this Handy lift. I also bought the side extensions so that there was room for me to drive up on to it everyday. http://www.handyindustries.com/produ...1000-bike-lift
