I replace mine when they are not that bad. I figure you only have two and a tire is much cheaper then a nights stay in the hospital not counting the damage to your bike. Yes I agree with the other replace it.

Check out www.jakewilson.com . They have good prices on these tires with no shipping. Ride safe.

Dunlop site says replace at 1/32 but at 3/32 and 12k miles I would definitely replace. My rear tire is 1/32 in the middle with 10K and the new tire is sitting against the bench. I did not measure the wifes until after I ordered and she is 2/32 with only 6K!

I take it the prices you quoted were for the tire only.....did not include install? Local dealer wants $380 to replace so out come the tire irons!

I'd replace it with some Elite 3's.

I'm sure you'll feel better if you replace it, but that tire is only 1/2 worn. They are 5/32 when new & worn out at 1/32, personally I'd worry more about the age of the tire & what caused the tire to go flat. It's funny how some people complain about how high priced tires are, but then will replace sooner than need be. Do what makes you feel good.

Replace it, no way is it worth the trouble to take it off again.

If you have to ask . . . . that's natures way of telling you to change the tire so you can enjoy the ride and not be distracted by the tire tread depth.
